and chili ($3.00 donation per person.) Live Worship at 6:30pm, DVD at 7pm. We will end the evening with prayer and testimonies. For more

Snowcamp for
Students December 5-7
Middle
Schoolers (7-8th graders): we are heading back to Frontier for Snowcamp
again this year on December 5-7. The cost will be around $120 and worth
every penny as you know if you’ve been there before. Speaking of “been
there before”, because Frontier is designed to be an outreach camp with
the goal of introducing kids to Jesus, if you’ve been to either Snowcamp
or Summer camp before then you’ll need to bring a friend who’s never been
in order for you to go as a second-timer. In other words, if you want to
go again, get a friend signed up and bring them with you to share in an
awesome weekend. Look for fliers at the info booth or give Kevin a call at
the church. You need to have a deposit of $50 in by Tuesday 12/2 if you
want to go.
Christmas Dinner
Potluck December 7
The
Gathering Center will be hosting a Christmas Potluck on Sunday December
7th following the later service. This is an event NOT to be missed. Please
seek out the clipboards at the “Kitchen counter” by Common Grounds to
volunteer for Set-up, Food/Drink Prep, Decorations, Clean-up etc. Please
plan on attending this unique, inaugural event for our new facility. It
promises to be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy each others company at
this time of year. We’ll see you there. Please feel free to contact Scott
with any questions you may have.
C@C Second Annual Christmas Give Away December 13
Last
Christmas, we sponsored a “Give Away” to our neighboring Hispanic
community. It was a huge outreach success so we are planning our next one
for this Christmas season. While our guests are “shopping” among all of
our donated items, we will be serving cider and cookies. We will also be
handing out candy canes to the kids and offering free gift-wrapping.
Please drop off all of your donations beginning December 7th. We
will be collecting your items in the area located in front of the old
foyer. Make sure all donations are clean and in good working condition.
Please be respectful that all your donations would make nice gifts. We
also need wrapping paper, tape, gift labels, cookies, cider, and candy
canes. Volunteers also needed to help on the event day.
WHEN: Saturday, December 13th
TIME: 10am-1pm
WHERE: Church at Carbondale (new entrance, located in front of the old
foyer)
If you
have any questions please contact
Kathy Gregg
704-1815, or call the church office at 963-8773. The Give Away Team
joins in thanking you for sharing Christmas!

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Processing in Denver December 13
We will
be taking a team to work at the Processing Center in Denver from 12 – 4
pm. This is where millions of shoe box gifts collected across the country
are inspected and prepared for overseas shipment. Each volunteer plays a
vital role in creating a heart warming and potentially life changing
experience for a needy child. Let Roz Fowler know if you are interested at
945-8940.
