Angel Tree Project
Christmas Gifts for Underprivileged Children
Lift up’s
Angel Tree Project comes to C@C. Christmas trees in front entrance and in
Gathering Center. There are 50 Angel tree ‘tags’ on the trees. Each one had the
description of children of one family in need, gender, age, size. Take a tag,
purchase gifts for each child, suggested amount for each $20. Put unwrapped
gifts in large gift or plastic bag, securely attach the Angel Tag to the bag.
Return bag with gifts to C@C before Dec 13. Gifts will be picked up and
distributed by Lift Up volunteers. Contact the office if you’d like to help with
collection and distribution.
Baristas Needed
Hey!! Wannabe
Baristas……we’ve had a number of you that are still very interested in becoming
Baristas and running that kooool new latte/cappuccino apparatus. Our last
session was an afternoon training and we’d like to accommodate those of you that
are not available until the late afternoon or evening times. Please feel free to
contact Scott
or call at 963-8773 x105 and let him know of your interest and the time
that would be most convenient for your schedule. The folks at True Brew can do
an evening training session sometime after Thanksgiving at this point, so please
get on board and let us know. Incidentally, a great way to observe those that
have had the training and get a head start in this process is by volunteering as
a “third counter person” on Sundays. We can use additional assistance behind the
counter with order-taking and foodservice. If this appeals to you, contact us

Point Person Needed for
Card Ministry
Tom’s Door
ministry, established in 2001, provides emergency assistance to those in need
from Rifle to Aspen. Money is raised by the sale of greeting cards with pictures
of the beauty of our area. Many photographers donate their pictures and
volunteers assemble the cards so that most proceeds from card sales go directly
to help the needy. Your job would be to stock a rack in the lobby with cards.

Part-time Position in Church Office
We have a part-time (20
hours/wk) paid administrative position available in the church office. Job
entails basic office support functions (Word processing, telephone support,
etc.) and extensive people interaction. Computer skills required include
Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Microsoft Publisher
