The Pritchards

David & Kelli Pritchard have been married for 25 years. They run conferences nationwide speaking to couples about proven parenting and marriage techniques that result in happy, peaceful families living as God intended us to live. They are great parenting role models - a rare thing in today's world.

David, a former college football player, runs Young Life and coaches football at Clover Park High School. Kelli has a degree in Social Work and Secondary Education from Indiana State University and coaches folks on personal nutrition and health in addition to her roles in the home and with Pritchard Ministries.

Tavita celebrating Stanford's win over USCThey have eight children of their own (see below!) comprising 2 college graduates, 1 in college, 2 in high school, 2 in middle school, and 1 third grader. Over the years they have been guardians to another dozen  teenagers in need of care.

Their eldest son, Tavita, hit the headlines in October 2007 when, as a sophomore, he quarterbacked Stanford University to a historic road win over top ranked and 41 point favorites, USC. "He is a warrior! The composure and poise that Tavita Pritchard showed when he was thrust into the national spotlight is the type of character quality that takes a lifetime of parenting to produce." said Jim Harbaugh, Stanford University Head Coach and former NFL quarterback.

Going PublicFrom early on during their 24 parenting years, David & Kelli were often approached by people saying things like: “Your family is not normal… how do you do it?” They would share their techniques, and people would come back saying: “It’s working! You need to share this with the world.”

David & Kelli's book Going Public - published in March - is dedicated to all families who deeply care about educating their children, as well as to the teachers and staff who daily serve those students.

With godly parenting it’s possible for your children to thrive and become fine, self-governing men and women who make a positive impact on others. And in the process, it’s possible for those families of faith who choose to "go public" to help shape the school system and infuse it with the winsome fragrance of Jesus Christ.
